DOG PARK PERMITS
Sorry, but we are sold out of 2009 permits. 2010 permits will go on sale on November 30, 2009. We suggest you sign up to receive our emails and you will be notified when more permits become available. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Do I have to sign up for each park? No, you have to choose a home park. However, if you ever want to visit one of the other dog parks you may do so. 2. How many permits are available right now? None. 3. If I had a dog park permit in 2009, do I have to provide vaccination and licensing information again? Yes. 4. What vaccinations are required? Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Kennel Cough (also known as Bordetella. We also recommend your dog be on a flea and heartwork preventative, but this isn't required. 5. Where do I get the Louisville Metro Animal Services registration? You can apply at your vet's office or on the web at http://www.louisvilleky.gov/AnimalServices/. 6. Do I have to obtain a Louisville Metro dog license if I live outside of Louisville Metro? No, but we strongly recommend that you check with your local Animal Control office to see if your community requires a dog license (and yes, Oldham Countians, there is a license requirement in Oldham County). 7. How long does it take for my application to be processed? We typically check the mail twice each week. |
