Recently, the group that we are working with on the Old Louisville Dog Run contacted someone about doing a logo for that proposed dog run. This is something that we've been talking about for the other dog runs so we thought, hey, why not have a contest?

Here are the rules:
1. We'd like a separate logo for each dog park/run. Those parks are as follows: Sawyer Dog Park, Vettiner Dog Run, Cochran Hill Dog Run and Champions Dog Run (Old Louisville Dog Run is not part of the contest).
2. We'd prefer the logo design be limited to black, white and one other color.
3. The logo should be a reflection of the park's or surrounding area's character. All submitted work must be original.
4. The contest is open to everyone, including non-dog park users.
5. Mutliple submittals are welcome. This means you can submit more than one design for one park and/or submit designs for more than one park.
6. Logo entries must be submitted via email to info@louisvilledogs.org by Thursday, December 31, 2009. Entries must be in .pdf, .bmp or .gif format (we'll figure out final file formatting after winning logos are submitted). Entry emails must also include the submitter's name, address, phone number and email address and a brief explanation of the logo (how you came up with, why you submitted, etc.).
7. Winning logos will be selected by the LDRA Board of Directors and announced in the February 2010 LDRA Newsletter. LDRA reserves the right to not select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. LDRA reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry at its sole discretion.
8. Winners will receive one (1) free 2010 dog park membership and a $25.00 gift certificate to Three Dog Bakery (if you purchase a 2010 dog park membership before the contest ends you will be reimbursed the cost of that membership).
9. Winners will be required to sign a contract assigning all ownership of the logo(s) to the LDRA.
